He's a young player, covers central midfield, he can be play defensive midfielder but also attacking midfielder as a playmaker. Has a good shooting ability from distance but he doesn't use it much. He also has to work on his bravery. He also has problem with keeping the ball under pressure. But also he has a good drible and can play a through ball to the forwards that takes your breathe away.

we sold him only because his contract was ending in the summer and he didn't want to sign another one. Coach Besek (who was also for some time coach of one of polish clubs) has a great opinion about him and he said several times that Golik has great potential and could become one of the best midfielders in Croatia. But the fans here in Varaždin didn't like him because Golik was arrogant and thought he was too good for our proud football club! He only thought that about himself but I must say that in general he didn't show that on the football pitch. Maybe because he was only thinking of leaving Varteks and not playing the game.
